Minnesota United returns for its second game at Allianz Field for a midweek matchup against second-place LA Galaxy. The teams first met back in Week 3 at Dignity Health Sports Park as the Galaxy claimed a 3-2 win, which kicked off a five-game winning streak. Minnesota will be missing two key starters in Jan Gregus and Francisco Calvo, who were ejected from the club’s last game in Toronto. Despite the defensive absences, the Loons’ attackers have proven to be troublesome to opposing defenders as they have netted eight goals in the last three games. The Loons will need to continue that scoring streak and shore up the gaps in the defense against the resurgent Galaxy if they hope to claim their first victory at Allianz Field.
