Game Central

Minnesota United will get a second chance at securing a spot in the 2019 Playoffs presented by Taylor Communications on Wednesday night against Sporting Kansas City at Allianz Field. A last minute goal for SKC snatched points away from Minnesota in the last meeting between the clubs at Children’s Mercy Park back in August. However, the Loons handed Sporting KC a big loss in an Open Cup clash in Saint Paul and will try to replicate that result on Wednesday. Minnesota is currently riding an eight game unbeaten streak at Allianz Field, and would love to lock up its first trip to the postseason in front of its home fans. Though not mathematically eliminated, SKC can still shake up the playoff race as it tries to snap a three-game losing streak and attempt to spoil the Loons’ playoff ambitions.

Genz-Ryan Coat Drive
Everyone deserves to be warm with winter. Minnesota United has collaborated with Genz-Ryan to organize a coat drive ahead of kickoff this Saturday night. Bring a new or gently used coat to the game and drop it off on the Great Lawn. Coats will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army.

Food Trucks
Starting at 4:30 p.m., there will be food trucks available outside of the stadium for those fans looking to grab something to eat before heading into Allianz Field. Food trucks slated to join us include: My Burger, Los Ocampo, West Indies Soul Food, Fare Well and Taqueria Los Paisanos.
