Minnesota United gets back to MLS play on Saturday when it welcomes Western Conference opponent Real Salt Lake to TCF Bank Stadium. After a shaky start, the Claret and Cobalt seem to have found a groove and risen up the standings in recent weeks. The Loons claimed their first-ever MLS win against RSL back in April 2017 and will need another result in this match. Struggles on the road and against other teams in the West have seen the Loons slip out of playoff position. Taking points against teams above them, like RSL will be a big boost for MNUFC in the busy month of July. Getting back above the red line will take a total team effort from the Loons as they hope to close the gap on Real Salt Lake.
