San Jose Earthquakes arrive in Minnesota after claiming all three points in the previous meeting between the two sides on opening day. Since that 3-2 result, the Quakes have gone winless, with five losses and two draws. MNUFC has been dominant at home and another three points on Saturday could see the club climb as high as third in the Western Conference standings. Much of the team’s success has come from its high-scoring midfield, with Darwin Quintero and Miguel Ibarra creating a majority of the opportunities in front of goal. They will have to counter the Quakes’ Danny Hoesen, who scored twice in the last meeting.
