MNUFC2 today announced the team’s 2024 schedule of six preseason scrimmages.
MNUFC2 is set to play four preseason contests in the month of February, all at the National Sports Center Dome in Blaine, Minnesota. First, the Twos will face MNUFC Academy’s U19 squad on Friday, February 9. MNUFC2 then welcomes two USL League One clubs in consecutive weeks: Hosting Forward Madison FC on Friday, February 16 before playing Union Omaha on Wednesday, February 21. The final fixture of the month will be against Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday, February 28.
In March, the Twos will also host St. Cloud State University on Friday, March 1 before the final preseason scrimmage against the University of St. Thomas on Sunday, March 10. Both matches will be at the National Sports Center Dome.
All of MNUFC2’s preseason scrimmages will be closed to the public. The Loons begin their third season in MLS NEXT Pro action beginning at the end of March, with a full regular-season schedule release to be announced at a later date.
