Game Central

Salute to Freedom Game, Presented by Minnesota Lottery

In their most recent match, the Loons lost a tough, tight battle against the Portland Timbers. Despite leading 2-1 at the half, the Timbers overwhelmed the Loons and scored two more in the second half to keep all of the points in Rose City. Now, the Loons have landed back in Minnesota and look to secure some points in a midweek matchup against the Vanouver Whitecaps. Currently, the Whitecaps sit only one spot and one point below the Loons in the Western Conference. The history between the two teams is just as tight, with Minnesota United coming out on top in the all-time record (5-4-4) as well with just as thin a margin. To widen the gap in both the history books and the league standings, the Loons will need to find a way to lock in for 90 minutes and secure a win on Wednesday night. To catch all of the action in person, purchase your ticket now at Can't come to Allianz Field? No problem; there are plenty of ways to watch. Join your fellow faithful fans at a Loons Watch Spot for food, drinks, and a fun football experience. Stream the game with Apple TV's MLS Season Pass or listen in on 1500 ESPN.
