If you explore the concourse at Allianz Field, you may notice a wall of plaques recognizing all kinds of soccer-related achievements. The name of every player who has ever played for the club in its Major League Soccer era. A list of MNUFC players originally from Minnesota. A dedicated plaque for each Homegrown player. 

MNUFC and Allina Health are happy to introduce a new plaque for the Minnesota Soccer Spotlight, permanently highlighting the reigning high school state champs. The beautiful game has long been thriving in the North Star State, from community rec leagues all the way up to the pros, and school athletics are a critical part of that soccer community. 

The inaugural group of winners recognized includes:

• Edina High School, Boys AAA

• Stillwater Area High School, Girls AAA

• The Blake School, Boys AA

• Mahtomedi High School, Girls AA

• Academy of Holy Angels, Boys A

• Providence Academy, Girls A
