Mental Health Awareness Game
Match Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota
It’s a crazy time for your Black and Blue, with double-game weeks galore and U.S. Open Cup fixtures punctuating a busy regular-season schedule. Matchday 12 saw the Loons pull off a resounding 4-1 victory over Inter Miami, with a phenomenal performance earning Head Coach Eric Ramsay and midfielder Robin Lod spots in the Team of the Matchday lineup. But the tides turned when a heavily rotated Minnesota side fell to Houston on Wednesday night. Now the Loons are on a mission to rekindle momentum as they host St. Louis CITY SC in regular-season play this weekend.
Minnesota’s in a good place, sitting at third in the West and returning to their home field. Dayne St. Clair boasts a whopping six clean sheets, and Minnesota United has lost only three times this season. The boys are ready to get back to their standard starting lineup and play some gosh darn good soccer, so get ready to embrace the MNUFC spirit this Saturday.

BCBS Statement Signs
Be sure to pick up a “Be Kind to Your Mind” sign, courtesy of BCBS, on the Lawn Layover or upon stadium entry at tables set up near the gates. Markers will be available to fill in the blank and share how you put your mental health first. Before the game, fans in the stadium will be asked to stand and display their signs in a moment of solidarity and show how they prioritize their mental health.
Register Roundup
When you grab your swag from the Black and Blue Team Store throughout the month of May, you can round up to the nearest dollar to donate your change to NAMI Minnesota. Both IKEA and Blue Cross Blue Shield will match fan donations!
2025 Artist Collection
MNUFC is excited to continue its first-ever Artist Collection in collaboration with Modern Day Me, a creative consultancy that connects artists and businesses to build community presence. Each of these local artists’ work will launch in conjunction with a Minnesota United theme game. For this week’s Mental Health Awareness Game, we’re happy to feature Henry Makarios, an abstract acrylic painter who uses his medium to explore the simplicity of nature and the complexity of the mind. You can catch him doing a live art installation on the concourse before the match, and make sure to check out his custom-designed T-shirt and scarf in the Black and Blue Team Store! The MLS Pride top will also be available.
