Minnesota United announced today Jan Gregus, Kei Kamara, Robin Lod and Romain Metanire have been called up for international play for the Slovakia, Sierra Leone, Finland and Madagascar national teams, respectively.
In Europe, with Finland already having qualified to the Euros 2020, Gregus and Slovakia continues their qualifying campaign, facing Northern Ireland November 12. Additionally, both Lod and Gregus will compete in Nations League, with Slovakia playing against Scotland (11/15) and Czech Republic (11/18) and Finland facing Bulgaria (11/15) and Wales (11/18).
Kamara and Metanire travel farther south to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. Sierra Leone and Kamara have a double header against Nigeria on November 13 and 17 while Madagascar and Metanire will face the Ivory Coast on November 12 and 17.
MNUFC hosts Round 1 of the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs against the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, November 22 at 6:30 p.m. CT. Game will be broadcast on ESPN and SKOR North Radio.
