• Real Salt Lake Head Coach Freddy Juarez played for the Minnesota Thunder from 2004–2007, including two years under current MNUFC Director of Player Personnel Amos Magee.
• Wil Trapp, Ethan Finlay and Justin Meram played together on the Columbus Crew from 2013–2017, including a trip to the 2015 MLS Cup Final. Jukka Raitala and Niko Hansen were also on the Crew’s roster in 2017.
• Jan Gregus is teammates with Albert Rusnak on the Slovakia National Team.
• Chase Gasper, Dayne St. Clair and Zac MacMath played collegiate ball with the Maryland Terrapins.
