“The first thing I do is brush my teeth. That’s about it. With my feet, I put my right sock on before my left. Right shoe on before my left. And it’s kind of weird, but before I put my socks on, I wipe my feet off for some reason. It’s a little weird, but I do that.”

“I used to have it when I was younger. I had 23. Then there wasn’t really any of the numbers that I really wanted, so I just took 23 because I’d had it before.”

“Go to all of the continents.”
4. I’m proud of myself because of …
“Making it as a professional. That’s something that has been my lifelong dream. Kind of like everybody else. So just being able to get here, now, I’m proud of myself for that.”
5. My favorite thing to do in Minnesota is …
“Try new food. Pizzeria Lola is probably my favorite. I just get a Margherita with pepperoni on it. It’s good.”

“I can juggle. And, I’m really good at Connect Four.”
7. The best life advice I have ever received …
“Proper preparation prevents poor performance.”

“Working Moms on Netflix. It’s mad funny.”
9. The significance behind my goal celebration is …
“Before the Houston [U.S.] Open Cup game, Chase [Gasper] and I were dancing in the locker room and he started doing this dance with fake maracas. And I just thought it was cool. And he was like, if you score today, you should do it. We can do it together in the corner. I scored, and we did it together. That’s kind of it. The only difference now is he’s so far up the field sometimes and I’m so far away from him in the corner, and he can’t get there in time, so now I’ve just taken it as my own. But Chase is the original reason.”
10. My favorite meal is …
“Probably Thanksgiving at my parents’ house. My mom, aunt, dad and uncle all make food. The spread is amazing. So Thanksgiving is probably my favorite meal. Out of that, my mom’s pound cake – so the dessert – is my favorite.”
