Mason Toye Good Bye

Minnesota United announced today the club acquired $150,000 in 2020 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $450,000 in 2021 GAM and a 2021 second round MLS SuperDraft pick via trade from Montreal Impact for forward Mason Toye. Additionally, Minnesota will retain a percentage of any future transfer fee on Toye.


Toye was selected seventh overall by MNUFC in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft from Indiana University. He made his MLS debut as a substitute on March 10, 2018 at Orlando, scored his first MNUFC goal in the Open Cup on June 18, 2019 at Houston and first MLS goal against FC Cincinnati on June 29. Since his debut, Toye has made 42 game appearances with Minnesota United across 1,604 minutes with seven goals and four assists.
