Minnesota United bakes cookies with Minneapolis teens

Brent Kallman, Kyndra de St. Aubin and MNUFC staff rolled up their sleeves and donned hair nets — and beard nets — on Wednesday, as they produced cookies at Cookie Cart.

Working side-by-side with Minneapolis teens, the group scooped, baked, and decorated more than 100 dozen cookies.

"Cookie Cart is an awesome organization," Kyndra de St. Aubin said, "with a goal of providing young adults with a job where they learn leadership, communication, and teamwork. It was an honor to work with young adults who are striving to make an impact in their community and their own lives. And the cookies are delicious, too!"

Cookie Cart provides teens 15 to 18 years old with lasting and meaningful work, life and leadership skills through experience and training in an urban nonprofit bakery.
