MNUFC Season Ticket Holder Get-Together

For the past four years, Minnesota United has hosted an annual season ticket holder get-together. What began as a potluck with several dozen season ticket holders in 2013 has grown into this year's 850+ fan event which included open training, a fan Q&A, autographs from players and good eats – all provided as a special thank you to the growing season ticket holder base of Minnesota United.

Fans started the evening by taking in open training at NSC Stadium – the old stomping grounds of Minnesota United and the current training ground of the MLS club. Adrian Heath broke the fellas into two teams and scrimmaged for most of the practice, leaving fans with divided allegiances and not sure who to cheer for. Eventually, fans resorted to applauding every break away move, save and tackle as the boys prepared for Sunday's matchup against LA Galaxy.

After speeches and food, the players sat down and fans lined up for autographs and photos. Players got to meet and take photos with the fans who cheer them on every week and make up the lifeblood of Minnesota United.

A special thank you from everyone here at Minnesota United for making this season and last night's event such a successful campaign. We're optimistic and excited about the direction the club is moving and looking forward to next season and beyond as we transition into Minnesota's first soccer-specific stadium and one of the top soccer stadiums in North America in 2019.
