Minnesota United makes its first trip to Real Salt Lake as an MLS club on Saturday night. The Loons dismantled RSL 4-2 back in April at TCF Bank Stadium, with a goal and pair of assists from Kevin Molino leading the way. RSL Head Coach Mike Petke has had a tough run since he took over in April, with the team hemorrhaging goals at an alarming rate. Minnesota’s potent attack will look to exploit these defensive weaknesses with its top four now mostly intact following international duties and injuries. The first victory on the road has eluded Minnesota so far this season, and Saturday night will be a prime opportunity to claim three points. To do so, the Loons will have to contain Albert Rusnak, who has contributed to eight goals this season.
