CLUES

It’s an exciting time at Minnesota United, with the playoffs in full swing and energy high across the club. And the fun doesn’t stop at Allianz Field! Our team is sharing their enthusiasm across the Twin Cities, making memories with Man of the Match nonprofit partners and other local organizations. Check out what the club has been up to lately.

Sharing the Love with Man of the Match Nonprofit Partners

In partnership with Bell Bank, Minnesota United fans vote for a Man of the Match at every home Loons game, with the winner earning a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice. On the day of Game 1 of the Round One Best-of-Three series, the community relations team set out for all 13 Man of the Match nonprofit partners with treats and playoff swag in tow to show appreciation for their support throughout the season! Empowering Youth Through Free Soccer

Minnesota United spent a Tuesday in October hosting a soccer clinic at the Sanneh Foundation, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to building community well-being and belonging with an emphasis on youth empowerment. The organization was founded by former professional soccer player Tony Sanneh, who spent a few seasons with the Minnesota Thunder back in the USL days.

As part of Minnesota United’s ongoing mission of fostering equitable access to and excitement about youth athletics across the state, the clinic provided an environment for kids to have fun getting excited about the beautiful game. They even made good luck cards for the team as they headed into Game 2 of the Round One Best-of-Three series!

Loons in the House

MNUFC is always glad to partner with Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest, a wonderful local organization that provides supportive community lodging to families with seriously ill or injured children. Nectarios Triantis and Morris Duggan joined MNUFC staff at RMH on October 30, serving dinner and hanging out with families on the eve of Halloween weekend.
