Minnesota United announced today plans for the 2022 Home Opener at Allianz Field against Nashville SC on Saturday, March 5, presented by Cub. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on Bally Sports North EXTRA, The CW Twin Cities and MNUFC Radio on SKOR North.

Pregame festivities begin at 2:30 p.m. on the Lawn Layover, presented by Sun Country (previously the Great Lawn). Fans can enjoy live music by DJ Anthony Kasper, food provided by iPierogi and K-town Street Foods food trucks, beer and much more.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m. Fans will receive a cobranded MNUFC and Target bandana as they walk into the stadium. The pregame ceremony will include a national anthem performance by award-winning singer, songwriter and trained violinist — and Minnesota-native — Monique Blakey, as well as a flyover of three Blackhawk helicopters. At halftime, the club will honor the Ukranian American Community Center as the 2022 Home Opener’s L’Etoile du Nord. US Army veteran Ted Lockhart will be the recipient of the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon.

The club’s new Minnesota Night kit jerseys will be auctioned to benefit the Clean Air Minnesota by Environmental Initiative. The jerseys will be auctioned off at a later date after the game.
