Match Central
Minnesota United will look to continue to where it left off last year against Orlando City SC when the team travels to the Sunshine State this week. MNUFC pulled off a dramatic 1-0 win at home in 2017, thanks to a goal from Christian Ramirez. This match will be the first time Head Coach Adrian Heath and midfielder Kevin Molino return to Orlando for a competitive match after long careers with the club in USL and MLS. The Lions are fresh off a dramatic 1-1 draw with D.C. United in which former Loon Stefano Pinho scored the equalizing goal in stoppage time in front of the home fans. MNUFC will need to put together a complete match if it hopes to take points from one of the toughest stadiums to compete in for visiting teams.
