Minnesota United announced that defender Marc Burch underwent successful bi-lateral sports hernia surgery. He is expected to make a full recovery, with a timetable for return from 8-12 weeks.

“Marc underwent successful surgery this morning, and we anticipate him making a full recovery,” said MNUFC Head Athletic Trainer Sean Kupiec. 

Burch, acquired via a series of transactions with the Colorado Rapids earlier this season, has started nine games for MNUFC this season, totaling 783 minutes.
