MLS NEXT Pro Matchday 9: MNUFC2 vs. Galaxy II | #MINvLA
Date: Wednesday, May 24, 2023
Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. CT
Location: National Sports Center
Broadcast Stream: MLSNextPro.com
The Twosies are back in Blaine on Wednesday night for their second home game of the season and their second matchup against Galaxy II. In their first meeting back in early April, the Loons came out on top of a tightly contested 1-2 road win. As of late, the Loons have found themselves in many tight battles, with their last three matches all ending in PK shootouts. Galaxy II, on the other, hand have struggled with consistency, losing 0-5 at home to Colorado, 2-1 on the road to Sporting KC II and then securing a 2-0 win over Timbers2 at home. With their recent win, the Galaxy broke a three game losing streak and are making their way to Minnesota with newly reinstated confidence. However, the Twosies have proven that they are capable of taking down the guys from The Golden State and battling through tough competition. Purchase your tickets today at SeatGeek.com to see which side secures the three points up for grabs. For those who can't make it out to Blaine, MLSNextPro.com has you covered. Standard MNUFC screening procedures will be in place for MNUFC2 games at the National Sports Center. Each guest will be subject to walk through a magnetometer, and guests with bags will be asked to open their bags for a brief search. The clear-bag policy will not be enforced at the National Sports Center Stadium. All bags that are 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller will be allowed into the stadium. Guests with diaper bags or medical bags will have their bags checked and then tagged, but will not have size restrictions. MNUFC2 players will be signing autographs on their way back to the locker room after the match. Fans that want to score some signatures should meet behind sections 3 and 4 of the seating bowl, where they will be guided down to the autograph area by event staff. Fans of all ages are invited to participate.
Once the players have cleared the field after Autograph Alley, fans between the ages of 3 and 15 will have the chance to take a PK on the very same turf that the team plays on.
