MNUFC2 announced today that the club has acquired Liberia international defender Philip Tarnue via a one-year loan through December of 2026, with an option to purchase his contract, from Watanga FC.

“Philip is a young player with good potential who we are hoping can provide impact to our team as soon as possible,” said Head Coach Fanendo Adi. “He has tested topflight football back in his home country, and we hope he can translate that experience to our boys here once he has adjusted. We welcome him to the team and look forward to seeing him on the pitch.”

“I am truly excited to join MNUFC2 as this is a big, new step in my career,” said defender Philip Tarnue. “I want to thank the club for giving me this opportunity, and I am ready to get started, work hard and add to our team’s success.”
