It’s finally time for the Loons’ return to Allianz Field! Minnesota United hosts FC Cincinnati in a cross-conference Home Opener this Saturday, February 28, at 3:30 p.m. After kicking off the season with a road point down in Austin, the Black and Blue are battling for the first big win of the season at home, surrounded by the roar of adoring fans.Â

Knit Hat Giveaway
The first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a limited-edition 10th-season knit hat, courtesy of College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, so you can keep warm while cheering on your Loons.

Specialty Cocktail of the Match
Fans 21+ can try out our specialty Black and Blue Margarita — tequila, Blue Curacao, triple sec, and lime juice— at the Brew Hall and in our premium spaces.
In-Game Honors
The pregame ceremony will include a national anthem performance by Joe Okell, and College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University ROTC will present the colors. Renee Hamdorf will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Stu Maxwell will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fan of the Game. Additionally, 8-year-old rescue dog Luna will be honored as the NutriSource SuperStar. MNUFC will also honor various community members as the Target L'Étoile du Nord and Robert Erlandson of the Minnesota Army National Guard as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon, and Finley’s ambassador Ian will deliver the game ball.

Collection bins for pop tabs from your canned beverages are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins (and outside, if you’d like to bring tabs from home).
