From time to time, Minnesota United has the pleasure of playing host to various supply drives, ranging from holiday gifts for kids to winter gear for those in need. The club is proud to support initiatives that help put needed supplies and smiles on the faces of people around our beloved Twin Cities community. That’s why, in partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and United Heroes League, MNUFC will be hosting an athletic gear drive ahead of the September 18 match against FC Cincinnati. Visit the Sun Country Lawn Layover ahead of the match to make your contribution!
This drive is focused on gathering sporting equipment of all kinds, with an emphasis on the following list of items that UHL is currently running low on. Bins will be set up for collection in the middle of the Great Lawn from 5:30 to 7:30; feel free to drop your gear off at your convenience.

- Hockey skates (all sizes)
- Baseball gloves (all sizes and hands)

- Soccer balls (all sizes)
- Footballs (all sizes)
United Heroes League is a nonprofit organization based in Hastings, Minnesota, committed to giving the children of military families an equal opportunity to get involved in the sports that they love. They’ve provided more than $25 million worth of sports equipment, game tickets, cash grants, sports camps, and other special experiences to military families across the US and Canada since their inception, and Minnesota United is proud to join both them and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota in this mission.
