RAMON ABILA: 10 things you don’t know about me

Ramon Abila Header

My hero is ...

"The Chavo del Ocho. The Chapulin Colorado and vice versa, whichever one of the two because their personality is something that I really like because they’re superheroes that are real people through and through, and we watched them as kids in Argentina and that's something that entertains me a lot."

Something on my bucket list is ...

"Always be a champion and that my family to have good health."

My everyday ritual is ...

"I always change by starting off with my right sock or shoe, depending on what I'm wearing. If it's a shoe that I have to wear socks with, I always start with the right sock and then the shoe and then the left sock and shoe. And if it's a shoe where I don't have to wear a sock, I still start with my right then go to my left. I always start with my right foot."

The significance behind my number is ...

"Number nine means to be a goal scorer, someone who has to be responsible to score the goals."

My preferred music is ...
"Cuarteto, a type of musical genre that was originated in Córdoba, the city that I'm from in Argentina, and it's something that's heard throughout the country, but was started in Córdoba."

The best piece of advice I've received is ...

"To be humble and in spite of what someone achieves, what a professional achieves doing what they do, don't forget about your background, and always try to connect with people regardless of the image they have or don't have, economic difficulties or intellectual difficulties for life or for what they propose, if not keep maintaining the same customs and friends."

What motivate me to work hard is ...

"Winning. I love to win so the only way to win is to work hard and doing the best in what we have to do, just practice and be the best we can be every day."

The personality trait I am most proud of is ...

"Achieving everything I've achieved in my career because since I was a kid I didn't really have much or had less than what others see/had, so to be able to arrive with so much strength and make the sacrifices and be able to achieve one's self is the best satisfaction, at least my career and what I do. And thanks to that, I've been able to give my kids the best life which is what I always wanted."

My guilty pleasure is ...

"There's not much of it here, but eating asado, which is a typical Argentine dish, which is bad. Just eating something, anything, like candy, like a sweet food something like that."

My favorite way to spend a day off is ...

"Doing nothing. Peaceful, relaxing or being with friends. I have thousands of ways to spend a good day, whether it be with friends or alone I enjoy my time the same. Or to be with the family, his kids, whoever."

My favorite meal is ...

"Asado or milanesa, it's between those two because they're my favorite. They're typical Argentine dishes."
