Minnesota United and Ramsey County partnered to provide Allianz Field as a ballot return location for Ramsey County voters in the 2020 general election.
More than 297,000 Ramsey County residents cast votes in the election, surpassing the previous record of 280,000 from the 2012 election. Early voting also increased from 64,000 in the 2016 presidential election to 194,000, marking the highest number in Ramsey County history.
Of the 297,000 voters in Ramsey County, 37,000 voted early – returning their ballots in person from mid-September to Election Day including 1,422 voters returning their ballot at Allianz Field. The home of the Loons became one of the most popular ballot return locations, recording more votes while it was open than any other locations in the county.
