Minnesota United will host the LA Galaxy in Round One of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs at Allianz Field, presented by Cub, Taylor Communications and Minnesota Lottery. The game will take place on Sunday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
On September 22, the Loons clinched the club’s first playoff spot in their MLS history with a dramatic 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City. Decision Day was the opportunity to clinch a home playoff game in Round One. Although Minnesota United dropped a tough 1-0 loss at CenturyLink Field against Seattle Sounders FC, LA Galaxy were downed 4-2 on the road against the Houston Dynamo. The result maintained the Loons’ claim on their bid to host a playoff game at Allianz Field.
