Finding the Right Gate

On Sunday, October 21, Minnesota United will close out its two-year stint at TCF Bank Stadium with the final home game of the 2018 season against the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy, presented by Star Tribune, in front of 50,000 fans. It's exciting, but it also means that there will be 50,000 people trying to get into the stadium around the same time.

Getting into the stadium on matchday can be a difficult endeavor. Our advice? Show up early, get through the gates to find your seats and watch warmups. Plus, there will be live music by Sawyer's Dream on the West Plaza when the stadium opens at 2:30 p.m., so stop by, grab some chow and enjoy the show. But if you're part of that late-arriving crowd, finding the right gate can help speed your journey from outside the stadium to your seat.

Check your section and find the gate that works best for your entry below:

Everyone has to go through security, and to make that go as quickly as possible, please follow TCF Bank Stadium's clear bag policy:

  • Fans are allowed one clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
  • Guests may carry a small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5" x 4.5" (approximately the size of a hand), with or without a strap.

There will also be a bag check located at Williams Arena across Oak Street from the west end of the stadium (there's a fee for each bag you check).

For those who can’t make it to the stadium, the game will be nationally broadcast on ESPN and there will be a comprehensive event stream on MNUFC.COM of all the postgame festivities.
