Schuller, 26, joined MNUFC in January 2017 after playing in the top leagues of his native country and Sweden. He was loaned to Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi (HJK) on August 9, 2017 for the latter part of the season, where he won a league and cup double while also featuring for Finland in World Cup qualifying.

In his first match of the 2018 MLS campaign, Schuller earned an assist as the Loons lost 3-2 at San Jose Earthquakes on March 3.

MNUFC also announced today that midfielder Jose Leiton has been placed on waivers. Leiton, 24, was loaned to MNUFC from Herediano on August 10, 2017. In the latter half of the Loons’ inaugural campaign, he made one appearance as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw with Philadelphia Union.

Minnesota United opens its home campaign against the Chicago Fire on Saturday, March 17 at 1:00 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium. Getting season tickets now guarantees your spot at Allianz Field. Tickets available at MNUFC.COM or by calling 763.4SOCCER.
