MNUFC has two members on the Week 15 MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi. Following Minnesota’s comeback 2-1 win over Portland Thorns, midfielder Emanuel Reynoso acquired a spot in the starting 11 while defender Chase Gasper is on the bench.

Emanuel Reynoso gained his fourth assist and third game-winning assist Saturday night. Throughout the game, Reynoso distributed the ball majestically as the Loons looked to equalize and eventually overtake the Timbers, completing 70 percent of his passes including a team-leading nine key passes in the game. In the 85th minute, Reynoso delivered a pinpoint long ball to Robin Lod, who took a touch with his right then finished with his left, giving MNUFC the lead in their 2-1 victory.

Chase Gasper’s contribution came on both ends of the pitch, as he stretched the field for the Loons throughout the entire 90 minutes. His endless work paid off in the 74th minute when he outjumped the Portland defense and put the ball into the bottom left corner of the Timber’s goal, tying the game for Minnesota United and pushing momentum in the favor of the Loons.
