MNUFC2 announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Kristers Bite to a two-year MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2027. Bite will join the club pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and ITC (International Transfer Certificate).

He is a goalkeeper who aligns with our identity, has strong fundamentals, a competitive mindset, and the drive to improve daily,” said MNUFC2 goalkeeper coach Cristiano Costa. “We’re looking forward to helping him take the next step in his development.”

Kristers Bite joins MNUFC2 after having previously played for Latvian topflight side FK Auda in 2025. Across his young professional career, Bite has made 32 game appearances, posting 17 shutouts in nearly 3,000 minutes played across all competitions since 2023.

Internationally, Bite has represented Latvia at the youth level, competing with the Latvia U19 side, where he’s made 10 caps. Recently, the goalkeeper made three starts in UEFA EURO U19 Championship Qualifiers against Italy, France and Spain’s youth squads in March of 2025.
