MNUFC2 announced today that it has acquired defender Juan Mosquera via a one-year loan, through July 2023, with an option to buy. Mosquera will be available to play in tonight’s game against Houston Dynamo 2.

Mosquera joins the Loons from Cortulua of the Colombian First Division, Liga Dimayor. The 20-year-old defender, who was born in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, has made five first-division appearances for Cortulua during the 2021-22 season. Additionally, while Cortulua was in the Second Division, Mosquera saw action in three matches during the 2020-21 season. Mosquera also made an appearance for Cortulua in the 2022 Copa Colombia.
