Minnesota United announced today that the club has loaned out midfielder Dominik Fitz to Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC through May 2027, with a permanent transfer option. 

Since joining Minnesota United in August 2025, Fitz has made nine appearances across all competitions for the Loons. He has also appeared in two matches for MNUFC2 in MLS NEXT Pro, recording a goal and an assist in 180 minutes. 

Fitz returns to the Austrian Bundesliga where he played for FK Austria Wien from 2015-25 prior to his move to Major League Soccer. While with Austria Wien, he appeared in over 200 matches for the Violets, scoring 54 goals and providing 63 assists across all competitions. He also competed for the Young Violets, Austria Wien's reserve side.
