Minnesota United FC today announced that it has parted ways with Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Khaled El-Ahmad.
Hank Stebbins, Head of Recruitment, Roster Strategy and Negotiation, will serve as the club’s interim Sporting Director. Since 2023, Stebbins has played an integral role in defining the club’s sporting strategy and roster construction, overseeing the Scouting and Player Recruitment department. He currently leads First Team roster strategy, while overseeing the club’s data analytics and scouting strategies across the First and Second Teams. Additionally, Stebbins serves as the club’s lead negotiator and liaison with player agents and intermediaries on player transfers and contracts. Stebbins will work alongside Head Coach Cameron Knowles, the technical staff and club leadership as the team continues its focus on the 2026 MLS season.
