Minnesota United announced today that the club has acquired attacker Aziel Jackson on loan for the remainder of the season from Polish Ekstraklasa side Jagiellonia BiaĆystok, with a permanent transfer option.

Jackson joins Minnesota United after a short-term loan with the Vancouver Whitecaps from Jagiellonia BiaĆystok earlier this season. With Vancouver, he appeared in 14 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and adding three assists in 654 minutes.
Jackson's soccer career began with the New York Red Bulls academy in 2014 before moving to France to join Toulouse's academy in 2017. He later joined Blagnac FC in France's fourth division from 2018-19 before returning to the United States and playing with Crossfire FC academy.Â
In 2021, the midfielder signed a Homegrown Player contract with Minnesota United after the club acquired his rights from the New York Red Bulls. He had a brief loan stint with North Carolina FC in USL League One before playing with MNUFC2 in MLS NEXT Pro during the 2022 season. Jackson earned MLS NEXT Pro Best XI honors after scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists in nearly 2,000 minutes played for MNUFC2. He additionally appeared in two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches for Minnesota United, making his MNUFC senior team debut in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round match against Forward Madison in April 2022.Â
Jackson joined St. Louis CITY SC ahead of its 2023 inaugural season following a trade and recorded three goals and seven assists in 49 matches across two seasons. His MLS journey continued with the Columbus Crew, scoring four goals and recording five assists in 31 appearances across all competitions from 2024-25. After a season and a half, Jackson was permanently transferred to Jagiellonia BiaĆystok, appearing in 11 matches for the Polish side, including two UEFA Conference League group stage matches.Â
Internationally, Jackson represented the United States Men's National Team in an international friendly in January 2024 against Slovenia.Â
