It’s a time of big changes for Major League Soccer, and starting in the 2026 season, one of those changes is the way you watch. Rather than purchasing a subscription to MLS Season Pass, all Major League Soccer matches will now be included in an Apple TV subscription — you read that right. No extra cost, all matches. Streaming the best sport in the world just got even better. Here’s our breakdown of the change, from content to cost, so you can take this streaming shift in stride.
How it Works and What You Get
In the past, fans purchased a single-season subscription to view all MLS matches through MLS Season Pass. It was accessible via Apple TV, but not part of an Apple TV subscription. Now, one subscription gets you access to everything. What’s everything, you ask? Get ready:
- All MLS matches, both regular-season and playoffs/MLS Cup
- MLS All-Star Game, Michelob Ultra Campeones Cup, Leagues Cup, and other non-standard league play
- Studio programming like MLS 360, with top-notch commentary covering simultaneous matches
- Apple TV exclusives, like our beloved Ted Lasso and major titles like Severance and Killers of the Flower Moon
- Other sports, including Friday Night Baseball doubleheaders and Formula 1 races in the U.S.
So… basically everything! A full range of entertainment in one subscription, and easy, streamlined access to watch your Loons all year long.
What It Costs
You’ll get access to all MLS matches and Apple TV programming for just $99 a year, the exact same price as MLS Season Pass. Good deal, right? You’re also able to pay via a monthly fee of $12.99 per month, a lowered monthly rate in comparison to 2025’s MLSSP subscription.
More details involving Apple TV package offerings with other partners will be released by the league in time, but fans will be able to gain access to the MLS package with other Apple TV packages and partnerships.
Season Ticket Members
In past years, our Season Ticket Members benefited from a free MLS Season Pass subscription, and moving forward, this will be no different! STMs will be able to redeem a year of free Apple TV, including all of its other sports and original programming, through their club membership. Redemption details will be sent out in STM communications in the coming months.
If you’re not a Season Ticket Member, but you’re super business-savvy and realize what a great deal this is, you can learn more and join the STM family here.
