It’s finally October, folks, and that means the postseason is so close we can see it on the calendar. With only two games remaining in the regular season, the Loons are making their final stand at Allianz Field against Sporting Kansas City, their “nicest” rivals from… not Kansas?

Minnesota United has successfully clinched a spot in the playoffs while Kansas City has already been decisively eliminated, but that doesn’t mean the stakes here aren’t high. With the Black and Blue just two points behind conference-leading San Diego and Vancouver, the top of the West is within reach. For Kansas City, this weekend is a chance for them to spoil the conference race for their rivals. Here’s everything you need to know to be ready for the Loons’ penultimate regular-season matchup.
