The Loons are back at Allianz Field this weekend, hosting the LA Galaxy in an effort to banish a recent losing streak and get back in the running for the playoffs. The countdown is on for this final stretch of fall games, and your Black and Blue are battling their way up the table to make room for themselves in the postseason picture. Only one point separates the Loons from that ninth-place spot above the play-in line. A home win against Greg Vanney’s side this weekend could turn the tables for Minnesota.

Here’s everything you need to know before the Loons go head-to-head with the Galaxy this weekend.

Before You Leave

• Plan your route to the stadium by reading up on our parking and transit options. Be aware of active construction on Highway 280 and I-394. 

• Get your parking pass in advance via SeatGeek.com to guarantee your spot and save time at the lots.

• Check out our clear bag policy to make the entry process easy!

• Feel free to bring water bottles into the stadium as long as they are empty, clear, and plastic. 

• Bring your card. Allianz Field is a cashless facility.

The Sun Country Pre-Party has it all! Starting at 5:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn, we’ve got food, music, giveaways, and all sorts of fun in store.

Make Entry Easy

The best way to ensure a seamless matchday experience is to show up early (we recommend at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff) and familiarize yourself with Allianz Field’s bag policy. Lines outside the stadium might look long, but will move fairly quickly provided guests are prepared with approved bags and digital tickets.

In-Game Honors

Kristen Lewicki will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Enrique Vargas will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fan of the Game. Additionally, 15-year-old golden Ella will be honored as the NutriSource SuperStar. MNUFC will also honor Gloria Contreras Edin as the Target L'Étoile du Nord and David Gutierrez of the U.S. Army as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon. The Petrich family will be recognized as the Red Baron Family of the Game, and Finley’s ambassador Rachel will deliver the game ball.

Pop It and Drop It

Collection bins for pop tabs from your canned beverages are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins (and outside, if you’d like to bring tabs from home). Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest. 

Reduce Your Waste with BizRecycling and WM

Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the BizRecycling and WM organics, recycling, or trash receptacles.

Ecolab Water Stations

As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.
