Match Presented by Allianz Life

The sun’s out, spring is in full swing, and the boys are back in Saint Paul for the game you’ve all been waiting for. After an impressive 3-0 shutout in Austin, Minnesota is second in the conference and in fantastic form. Joaquín Pereyra and Anthony Markanich slid into the goal-scoring stats for the first time with MNUFC on Matchday 11, landing Pereyra on Team of the Matchday and earning Markanich the Man of the Match title. Dayne St. Clair leads the league in clean sheets (6), and the Loons are ready to take on Inter Miami’s Herons in the bird battle of your dreams. We’ve got an exhilarating match teed up, pregame festivities like you’ve never seen, and a lot of buzz around a South Beach team whose roster is loaded with a handful of national team call-ups, eight Ballon d’Ors, a World Cup, a Supporters’ Shield… you get it. Sun Country Lawn Layover

Join us for the biggest Lawn Layover yet. Starting at noon, this epic pregame party is free for all fans. Even if you don’t have a ticket to the match, you can show up and join in the fun! Enjoy live performances by Grammy award-winning rock band Soul Asylum (2:00 p.m.) and local indie rock group Porch Light (12:45 p.m.), with a DJ before and between acts. Food will be available at a range of food trucks and concession stands. We’ve got a full lineup of games, giveaways, and interactives, including the Target Prize Machine. And all that fun will be followed by a watch party outside the stadium to keep the party going even for those who don’t have tickets. For more details, hop on over to this handy pregame Know Before You Go.

Please note that those in attendance will be required to go through the same security screening process as is practiced at Allianz Field.

Pennant Giveaway

The first 15,000 fans through the gate will receive an exclusive mini-pennant commemorating this landmark match, courtesy of Allianz Life. They’re pretty cool, if I do say so myself (and I do). Be there early to grab one before they’re gone.

Josh Vietti

We’re big proponents of a good gameday soundtrack, and it doesn’t get better than this. Violinist Josh Vietti will be performing a new composition and the national anthem for pregame and again at halftime — name sounding familiar? Josh performed at the Fan Appreciation Game last season, and we’re happy to welcome him back to the stadium for an encore!

Wonderwall 101

See those superfans in the South Stands? Yeah, that’s the Wonderwall. Also known as the Supporters’ Section, this standing room-only area is a party in and of itself, bringing loyal Loons together to cheer on the boys with drums, smoke, flags, and a whole lot of shouting. Remember — don’t show up to this section in Miami merch or your favorite pink pants. Here, we rep the Black & Blue. Click here to read up on what to expect in the Supporters’ Section.

Do Some Good!

Pop It and Drop It

Collection bins for pop tabs from your canned beverages are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins (and outside, if you’d like to bring tabs from home). Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest.

Reduce Your Waste with Biz Recycling and WM Organics

Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the Biz Recycling and WM organics, recycling or trash receptacles.

Ecolab Water Stations

As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.
