Last week, MNUFC2 saw their unbeaten streak snapped in dramatic fashion by Earthquakes II. San Jose got on the board first with a PK converted by Eduardo "Lalo" Blancas just before half. The Loons struck back in the 90th minute when Diogo Pacheco scored what looked to be the game-tying goal. However, San Jose's Jerry Ayon scored in the second minute of stoppage time to secure all three points for the home side. The Loons now look to revive their winning ways against North Texas SC this Sunday at Choctaw Stadium. The last time the two met, it was for the first franchise game for Minnesota United's MLS NEXT Pro team. Unfortunately, it ended as a 3-1 loss for Minnesota, but MNUFC2 has turned their season around since and sit only two spots below North Texas SC in the Frontier Division of the Western Conference.
