For the second week in a row, Minnesota United’s Franco Fragapane made the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi, and he was joined by right back Romain Metanire. Minnesota United defeated visiting Austin FC in the first full-capacity game at Allianz Field in 612 days.

The Argentine left winger completed 84.3% of his passes on the evening and scored both a goal and notched an assist. The goal came in the 11th minute when Romain Metanire sent a cross into the box that Fragapane settled briefly before ripping a shot into the top right corner of the goal past goalkeeper Brad Stuver. Six minutes later, Fragapane stepped in for corner kick duty in place of a temporarily sidelined Emanuel Reynoso and delivered a pinpoint curler that found Adrien Hunou’s head for the Frenchman’s first MLS goal.

In addition to the assist on the aforementioned play, Romain Metanire delivered two tackles and rampaged up and down the right side all night, sending in crosses and clamping down on the defensive end.
