As a fan of the beautiful game, you know that craft and community are just as important as physicality in our line of work. For the first time, Minnesota United has collaborated with local creative agency Modern Day Me to curate an artist collection specific to each of our themed games: Black Excellence, Mental Health Awareness, Pride, Native American Heritage, and Hispanic Heritage.

MDM curates artful environments and experiences to connect brands and businesses with local artists in an effort to build community impact and presence. It’s our privilege to collaborate with this organization and these brilliant individuals to promote the spirit of creativity, inclusion, and reflection. Each artist’s work will launch in conjunction with a select theme game, and their limited-edition work will be available exclusively at the Black and Blue Team Store. Check out the 2026 Artist Collection below to support awareness, artistry, and your favorite club all at once.

EzraWilson

Ezra Wilson

Ezra Alyosha Wilson is an artist born in Russia and raised in South Minneapolis, shaped by migration, dual identity, and the architecture of two distinct worlds. His work lives at the intersection of memory and environment, blending old-world heritage with Midwestern street culture to create pieces that feel both intimate and monumental. Spanning layered collage, expressive aerosol compositions, and commanding large-scale mural works, the exhibition reflects multiple phases of growth and self-definition.

AngeloRedmond

Angleo Redmond

Angelo Redmond is a Minneapolis-based artist with a passion for painting and design. His creative journey is fueled by a love for unorthodox shapes and a palette that bursts with bright colors. He finds inspiration in the unexpected and overlooked, transforming ordinary moments into striking visual experiences.

Redmond’s work evokes a sense of nostalgia and relaxation, much like discovering an old photograph or hearing a song that transports you to simpler times. His pieces are designed to wrap viewers in a warm, colorful embrace, offering a vivid escape from the mundane. Through his art, he invites audiences into a world that is both familiar and refreshingly new—a place where they can linger and let their imaginations roam.

TaliaMoreno

Talia Moreno

Talia Moreno is a Minneapolis-born creative entrepreneur, artist, and the founder of Wildocity, a creative production house focused on transforming art into opportunity.  A proud product of the city she calls home, Talia mentors young artists in design, production, and storytelling, helping them build independent creative careers. Her leadership is grounded in a passion for authentic storytelling, community building, and celebrating the resilience and innovation that define Minneapolis.

WillardMalebear

Willard Malebear

Willard Malebear Jr. is a Minneapolis-based Indigenous artist, tattooer, and community organizer, and the founder of Art Shelf, a nonprofit dedicated to making creativity accessible as a source of wellness. Through his work, he blends fine art, tattooing, and cultural storytelling, creating pieces that reflect identity, resilience, and connection.

Malebear’s practice is rooted in both personal experience and community impact. With over eight years in recovery, he integrates creativity as a tool for healing, teaching art in correctional facilities, youth programs, and community spaces across the Twin Cities. His work extends beyond the studio into large-scale murals, cultural events, and initiatives like the Mni Sota Akitho Festival, which uplifts Indigenous artists and voices.

As an artist, Malebear is driven by the belief that art is more than expression—it is a pathway to wellness, cultural revitalization, and community building. His designs often carry layered meaning, combining traditional influence with contemporary style to create work that is both visually striking and deeply intentional.

BryantHoward

Bryant Howard

Bryant Howard (O'Hear) is a Minnesota-based multidisciplinary artist, model, and storyteller whose work is rooted in lived experience, identity, and transformation. His creative journey began as a response to adversity. Using art as a way to process, survive, and ultimately redefine his reality.

Having experienced homelessness and personal hardship, OHEAR turned to creative expression as both an outlet and a form of self-reclamation. What started as a means of coping evolved into a deeper purpose: creating work that reflects truth, challenges perception, and makes space for people to feel seen. His art blends emotion, presence, and intention—drawing viewers into moments that are both personal and universally understood. Through visual storytelling and performance, OHEAR explores themes of resilience, self-discovery, and the complexity of identity, with a focus on authenticity and connection.

Guided by his belief in “keeping love at the center of everything,” OHEAR’s work is not only expressive, but impactful—resonating with audiences who value honesty, depth, and representation. His work stands as both a reflection and an invitation. To witness, to feel, and to embrace the power of living unapologetically.
