 â€śI started wearing number six when I first made the national team in Cuba. So, I kept it when I came to the United States. That’s why I kept the number six. I was 21 when I played for the national team.” 


5. My favorite place I have lived …

 â€śI lived in Miami, Seattle, South Carolina. I think every place is special for me.”


6. How many kids I have …

“I have three kids.”


7. The best piece of life advice I have ever received …

“That no matter what you have, look forward and fight for your dream.”


8. I’m proud of myself because …

“I think, I came here from Cuba, where soccer is not a big sport into the US, and I have been able to play for so long.”


9. My daily ritual is …

 â€śI try to do the same thing every game day. Wake up the same time and eat the same thing. Keep a routine.”

“Rice, beans, plantain and steak.”
