Following a much-needed bye week, Minnesota United returns to MLS action on Saturday with a trip out west to meet Portland Timbers. The well-rested Loons will look to get back on track after a pair of matches without scoring a goal, while the Timbers are still searching for their first win of 2018. The match could potentially see the debut of Darwin Quintero, who joined last week as the first designated player in club history. The former Club America player will no doubt bring an offensive spark to the Loons’ attack. MNUFC will have to bring its A-game to the newly renovated Providence Park, as the hosts play their first home match of the season.
