Fanendo Adi

Biography

Fanendo Adi played professional soccer in Slovakia, Ukraine, and Denmark before finally moving to the United States, where he played for Portland Timbers, FC Cincinnati, Columbus Crew, and Minnesota United. He also Played for the Nigerian national team. He won the MLS Championship with the Portland Timbers and Columbus Crew in 2015 and 2020, respectively.

Before retiring as a player, Adi enjoyed 14 years of a professional playing career with over 50 goals for the Timbers in 120 games. Adi completed a successful internship with Cam Knowles of Minnesota United 2 and assisted Noel Quinn with the Minnesota United U19 Academy Team. 

Adi recently completed his US Soccer B License and officially became the U19 Academy head coach for Minnesota United in January 2023.
