Career Summary

HOW ACQUIRED: Selected fourth overall in the 2016 MLS Expansion Draft

Warner is a box-to-box midfielder who can cover ground and protect his attacking players. He brought solid MLS experience to MNUFC upon being selected fourth overall in the 2016 MLS Expansion Draft; During the 2017 campaign, he featured in 25 games (12 starts) for the Loons, scoring once in the 5-2 loss at New England Revolution and assisting on one more.

Drafted No. 15 overall by Real Salt Lake in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Warner appeared off and on with RSL before being taken by Montreal Impact in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft. He played the 2014–15 seasons with Toronto FC and 2016 with Houston Dynamo.

Before starting his professional career, Warner featured for three years at the University of Portland, where he was a two-time first-team All-West Coast Conference honoree. He attended Denver East High School in Denver, Colorado and played for Colorado Rush Soccer Club.
