MNUFC’s U15 team is the youngest group in the Academy, and the first step after the Pre-Academy. This is where athletes begin to participate in MLS NEXT, the highest tier of youth soccer in the nation. This includes national travel, with several large tournaments (MLS NEXT Flex Fest, GA Cup, etc.) that require several days worth of accommodations covered by the club.
The regular season is broken up into two periods, combining to form a commitment that stretches from August to July. A mid-season winter break from late November to mid-February gives athletes a short reprieve, during which they rest, recover, and prepare for the final stretch.
