Troy Putt
Biography
Forward Troy Putt, hailing from New Zealand signed a two-year MLS NEXT Pro contract through December 2026. Putt previously played as a forward at Birkenhead United in both New Zealand’s Northern League and National League. Making 29 game appearances for Birkenhead’s senior team, scoring one goal and providing three assists from 2023-2024. Notably, Putt made an appearance during the 2024 National League Final, where Birkenhead were the eventual runners-up.
The 18-year old forward played high school soccer in Auckland at Westlake Boys High School from 2022-2024, where he scored 22 goals across 55 game appearances, helping lead his team to a National Secondary School championship title in 2023. Putt earned Golden Boot and MVP honors at WBHS for his contributions to the 2024 campaign after netting 25 goals. Additionally, Put was selected for New Zealand’s ISF Secondary Schools Football World Cup squad that placed 13th out of 36 nations represented in the tournament.
