Rory O'Driscoll

Biography

Rory O’Driscoll joined MNUFC2 after playing four collegiate seasons at the University of New Hampshire from 2019-2022. During his first season with MNUFC2, O’Driscoll made 24 game appearances (18 starts), scoring two goals and providing two assists within nearly 1,800 minutes played. He notably made his debut First Team appearance during an international friendly against FC Kaiserslautern in the summer of 2023 at Allianz Field, with a large group of close friends and family in attendance.

A Minneapolis local, the midfielder made 63 college game appearances for the UNH Wildcats, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists across his four years in school. O’Driscoll notably earned several honors while playing at New Hampshire, including America East Conference Midfielder of the Year, America East First Team All-Conference, America East All-Rookie Team alongside team awards including the Lucas Currier Award given to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of the will to overcome obstacles and the pursuit of excellence.

In his youth, O’Driscoll played with the Minnesota Thunder Academy U15/16, U17/18 and U18/19 squads. The midfielder was also a five-time State Tournament champion with Minneapolis United.
