Luke Hille

Biography

Luke Hille joined MNUFC2 on a one-year MLS NEXT Pro contract through December 2025 after a standout senior season collegiately with the University of North Carolina. He then signed a one-year contract through 2026, with a club option for 2027 with MNUFC2.

In 2025, before suffering a torn ACL later in the season, Hille made 19 appearances (17 starts), logging 1,485 minutes and scoring 10 goals. He finished tied as the team's leading scorer in the regular-season. Hille successfully underwent surgery and began rehabilitation as he works toward his return on the pitch. 

During his senior year with the Tar Heels in 2024, Hille appeared in 18 matches (all starts), scoring eight goals and providing one assist, showcasing his growth and consistency as a reliable attacking threat.

Prior to his time at UNC, Hille spent three seasons at NC State University (2020–2023), where he made 42 appearances and tallied 15 goals. Before beginning his collegiate career, he played in the North Carolina Football Club Youth Academy and earned a call-up to the U.S. U-14 Boys National Team camp in 2017.
