MNUFC2 announced today that the club has signed midfielder Jack Clarkson to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through 2026, with a club option for 2027. Clarkson is available for selection during tonight's MNUFC2 versus Houston Dynamo 2 match.
Jack Clarkson joins MNUFC2 after playing four seasons collegiately at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington from 2022-25. With UNCW, the defensive midfielder made 64 game appearances (45 starts), where he provided 12 assists and scored twice across his collegiate career. Following his final season with the Seahawks, Clarkson was named as an All-Coastal Atlantic Association Third Team honoree.
